EasyCruit 15.5 Release

Overview

EasyCruit continues to deliver customer value through its new releases, providing features that make the user experience more efficient and enjoyable. EasyCruit 15.5 is currently scheduled for release on Wednesday 27 May at 17:30 CEST and will last up to two hours. During this time there may be some unavailability of the EasyCruit service.  Features included in the 15.5 release include

Feature Availability

Guided tour for users

  • Users understand where and how to navigate throughout EasyCruit
  • Saves Administrators time in training new users
  • Links to how-to videos

Switched on for all users. Can be canceled by clicking the 'x' button.

Edit candidate Available to all customers. Administrators have access to edit candidates. Other users can be granted permission by their administrator.

Additional merge fields available for Stop Publication Channel email template.

The email that is sent when asking a job board to remove a posted vacancy previously only incorporated the ‘Vacancy Title’. This can caused an issue where there were more than one job posted with the same title.

EasyCruit now allows the following merge fields

  • {reference-number}
  • {application-link}
  • {employer-about}
  • {advertisement-heading}
  • {advertisement-title}
  • {advertisement-body}
Available to all customers. The email template can be updated by an administrator to include the merge fields.

Integration with multi posting, job distribution agent

Ability to post to over 350 job boards world wide plus 350 school/ university boards worldwide.

Available for purchase.
Interview Reminders - by email Available to all customers. By default, reminders will be set to 'off'. Administrators can configure the default text as required.
Interview Reminders - by SMS Available to all customers who already have the SMS feature. Alternatively, available as part of the Advanced Selection and Contract Pack. SMS charges apply separately.

A number of Solutions are also included in this release, and details are listed below.

Edit Candidate

Administrators and those with the Access Control 'Able to edit a candidate's profile' activated will now see a button called 'Edit CV' on the candidate's Application and CV page. Clicking this will enable the user to edit all items of a candidate's CV, including personal details, Education and Work Experience, Courses and Skills and upload CV and Cover Letter.

Granting a user permission to Edit Candidate

To grant a user permission to edit the candidate profile and application:

  1. Select Settings
  2. Select Users
  3. Edit the user
  4. Click on Access Control tab
  5. Tick the line item Able to edit a candidate's profile
  6. Click Save

Multi Posting Integration

EasyCruit have an additional job distribution integration partner which enables customers to post jobs to over 350 channels globally, plus over 650 school/ university networks globally. The integration makes it quicker and easier to post jobs to a large number of channels, in 3 easy steps!

  1. Step 1: Select the channels you wish to post to (during implementation you will choose which channels should be made available, and what your credentials are for each channel)
  2. Step 2: Select the date range for the job posting, along with the languages
  3. Step 3: Fill in any specific information each job board requires

Interview Reminders

Interview reminders can be configured for the following four response mails:

  • Initial meeting/ telephone interview
  • First interview
  • Second interview
  • Third interview

Configuring Default Interview Reminder Templates

To configure the default wording and settings for Interview Reminder Templates

  1. Click on Settings from the top menu navigation
  2. Click on Response Mails
  3. icon_pencil.pngEdit one of the four interview templates  you want to configure a reminder for.
  4. Select one of the reminder options
    • No reminder - no reminder will be sent
    • Send email reminder - an email reminder will be sent
    • Send SMS reminder - an SMS reminder will be sent if the user creating the interview has access to SMS
    • Send SMS + email reminder - both an SMS and email will be sent

  1. Select the number of days the reminder should be sent prior to the interview:
    • 1, 2, 3,5 or 7 days
    1. Reminders are sent at approximately 09:00 CET prior to the interview.
    2. Days are calculated on weekdays and weekends - therefore if an interview was set for Monday, and a reminder for 2 days prior, the reminder would be sent on Saturday at 09:00.
    3. No reminder can be sent if the interview is less than the number of days configured for the reminder.
  2. Enter the Subject of the reminder email (if you have selected to send an email reminder)
  3. Enter the Contents of the reminder email (if you have selected to send an email reminder)
  4. Enter the Signature of the reminder email (if you have selected to send an email reminder)
  5. Enter the Contents of the SMS reminder (if you have selected to send an SMS reminder)
    1. SMS reminders have a maximum number of characters that can be sent. If you are using merge fields please take into consideration that the merge field will be replaced with the actual text and may contain more characters.
  6. Click Save.

Sending Interview Reminders

Interview reminders are set up from the same page that you send an interview to a candidate.

  1. Select the Vacancy List quick link to display the Overview of Vacancies page.
  2. Select the Title of the vacancy for which you want to schedule interviews to display the Application Handling page.
  3. From the Overview section, select All Applications to display the list of applicants.
  4. Select the checkbox for the required applicant, then from the Further Progress list select Invite to Interview and click Execute.

  1. Select the Type of Interview, Recruiters attending interview, Date, Time and Duration then click Next.
  2. Review information for the interview interview invitation including From Address, Subject, Contents.

If you do not want to send a candidate an interview invitation, but just a reminder, set the interview invitation to No Email

  1. Select one of the reminder options
    • No reminder - no reminder will be sent
    • Send email reminder - an email reminder will be sent
    • Send SMS reminder - an SMS reminder will be sent if the user creating the interview has access to SMS. This option will not be visible to users who do not have access to SMS.
    • Send SMS + email reminder - both an SMS and email will be sent. This option will not be visible to users who do not have access to SMS.

A warning will appear if you try to send an SMS reminder to a candidate who does not have a mobile phone number entered.
