Users: Create, Edit, Delete

Viewing User Details

  1. From the Toolbar select Settings then Users to display the Users page.
  2. Select a user's name to display their details.

Creating a User

  1. From the Toolbar select Settings then Users to display the Users page.
  2. At the bottom of the page click New User to display the About User page.
  1. In the Username field, enter a unique name for the user, which is case sensitive.
  2. In the Password and Repeat Password fields, enter a unique case sensitive password that includes at least one number and one case change.
  3. Select the default language for the user from the Chosen Language list, which is dependent on the available languages initially set up for the company.
  4. Optionally, the Select Region, Account Expires and SSO id can also be configured for the user.
  5. Type the First name and Surname for the user: the Initials field will populate automatically.
  6. In the Contact Info section entire the required phone numbers and ensure that a valid email address is entered, otherwise the user cannot receive emails generated within EasyCruit.
  1. Click the Access Control tab and select a pre-defined access level from the Select a user template list or configure the access rights manually by selecting checkboxes as required.

  1. Click the Department membership tab to associate the user with available departments
  1. Select a department from the Department list.
  2. Select the Grant write access and Automatically include sub departments if required.
  3. Click Add Department.

The departments and whether or not the user has write access for them is displayed.

  1. Click Save to save the new user and return to the Users page.

Editing a User

  1. From the Toolbar select Settings then Users to display the Users page.
  2. Click icon_pencil.png next to the appropriate user then edit the user's details as required.

Deleting a User

  1. From the Toolbar select Settings and Users to display the Users page.
  2. Click icon_trashcan.png next to the user to be deleted.
  3. On the Delete User page click Delete to confirm your action.
